    One of the best local sweets stop! Shake Pit gives you one of the best small town/ home town feel when indulging in some greasy foods or sugary sweets. My personal favorite is their Butterscotch Milkshake. You can't go wrong with any of their menu items. The only thing you might have that is unpleasant is a small wait- but it is WORTH IT.

    Went inside with my 3 young kids, and wife to order dinner, but were told by the young lady inside that they wouldn’t serve us because my 8 year old had a smoothie King smoothie in her hand...my daughter loves fruit juice drinks what can I do? Throw away her drink? it was 100 degrees outside, so we respectfully left. Never Again! This happened 3/04 Sunday afternoon at 3:00PM and this lady was being ridiculous.

    They make pretty good burgers here for a decent price. They have vegetarian/vegan milkshakes and really good regular ones too. Good prices but cash only. There is an ATM on site in case you need cash to pay.

    Cool Bradenton landmark. Food so hot we had to wait to eat. Good size portions. Very reasonable prices. Fish sandwich and fries much better than expected.

    I love the shake pit! They have excellent ice cream and a great location. Great staff and service too! They really capture the atmosphere of an ice cream shop you'd expect to find up north. Glad I can find that down here!
